This was my first time discovering this fun trail. Even though it was winter, there was still a lot to see on this short trail. I loved this pine grove on the hilltop. It looked like something out of a fairytale and it was the perfect setting to bring my vision to life, although it was so cold I needed to use my electric hand warmers to keep my fingers from freezing. While creating this image, we encountered a sweet elderly couple. They were very excited to share information about their favorite trail that they walk every day together. They had moved to a house at the bottom of the hill because they love this park so much! I'm looking forward to returning in the spring after the trees leaf out!

Valley Park is a 60 acre city park with water slides, walking trails, volleyball, tennis, playgrounds, miniature golf, picnic shelters, ball fields, Waves of Fun, and a community center. One of the coolest trails is the 1.6 mile Fairy Trail. It has lots of whimsical artist created features to discover among the beautiful nature.
